Why should I update my account information?
It is very important to keep your account information updated to be able to receive certificates and official transcripts. Please update your profile when a change occurs.
How can I update my account?
Sign in and access “My registered account” link. However, the registered user name, first name and last name cannot be changed. Still, if there is a need to change your first name, last name, or username, please contact us.
How do I recover my lost username or password?
Lost authentication credentials can be restored following identity confirmation. Go to the “Sign In” page and click on the “restored” link. The e-mail address provided during the registration process and the answer to the security question are mandatory to retrieve your lost username and/or password.
What is a transcript number?
An individual transcript number is assigned to each person while creating an account in order for third parties to be able to review the associated online transcript. A valid transcript number consists of 12 case-insensitive alphanumeric characters.
How can I cancel my account?
Please send us a message and we will do it for you. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be reactivated and all certifications will be cancelled.
Proctor registration
I created my account. Now what?
The next step is to choose a proctor who will supervise you exam(s).
How do I choose a proctor?
A proctor can be any individual, except relatives and tutors, who agrees to monitor your exam(s). There are no specific requirements in term of his education, status, age, profession, birth place etc.
What shall I do after I choose a proctor?
Sign in to your account, click on “My proctor registration status” link and submit the Proctor Registration Request application with the proctor’s personal information.
How do I know if my proctor was registered?
Sign in to your account, click on “My proctor registration status” link and check the proctor status.
My proctor has not received the e-mail. Now what?
If your proctor did not receive the e-mail within three days from the confirmation of his registration, please resubmit the Proctor Registration Request application or contact us.
If I intend to run for two certifications do I need two proctors?
No. You register only one proctor and he will supervise all your exams.
My proctor has not been registered. What shall I do?
Find another individual, sign in and submit the Proctor Registration Request application with the personal details of the new proctor.
I have a proctor registered but he can’t supervise my exams any longer. Any advice?
Find another person, sign in, click on “My proctor registration status” link and submit the form with the references of the new person.
Exam procedure
Are there any preparatory materials available?
Each certification has a list of training materials. Select the certification you would like to pursue and read about the training materials on the resultant page.
Where will the exams take place?
The exams may take place anywhere and anytime. However, the exam date and place should be agreed with your proctor, as the proctor must be present during the entire exam. The exam location must have at least two hours of uninterrupted Internet service and the computer used for taking the exam should have a browser installed.
What are the exam fees?
There are no exam fees. After successfully passing an exam, you may choose to pay for the Certification Package. This is the only fee to be paid, there are no other fees.
What is the exam structure?
The exams are structured as 40 multiple-choice items to be answered over a 60 minutes time frame. The exam items are designed in the form of questions or incomplete statements, each item coming with four possible answers, out of which a single answer is correct.
What is specific to INFINIDOX examinations?
All examinations are proctored, real time, closed book and web-based. The online proctoring system has been implemented to ensure the integrity of our examinations.
What is the role of the proctor during the examination?
The proctor will verify your identity before starting the exam, supervise the exam to ensure all requirements are fulfilled and validate the exam.
What do I do if I get disconnected from the Internet while taking an exam?
If an unexpected disconnection from the Internet occurred during the exam session, a new attempt is allowed after at least 48 hours.
What is the exam passing score?
The exam passing score is 60 out of 100 points. The passing score for all examinations is set by criterion-referenced methods.
What are the advantages of the web based examinations?
By using a proctoring exam procedure, you may choose your proctor, exam location and exam date, and therefore save time and money.
How do I know if I passed an examination?
After completing the exam, the score will automatically show up on the screen.
Certifications, certificates and official transcripts
How can I arrange the payment for a Certification Package?
Sign in, go to “Order a Certification Package” link and select the certification you wish to pay for.
How can I maintain my certifications in good standing?
By acquiring Certification Packages, the corresponding certifications will become valid for 5 years. Recertification exams are required every 5 years to keep the certifications in good standing.
How can a potential employer check my certification(s)? First, the employer should access the “Access Transcript” link on the home page. Your online transcript will be displayed by entering the corresponding transcript number in the left side box. The transcript number is printed on the bottom right corner of the paper certificates.
When does my certification expire? After successful passing the exam, the certification will be recorded in your online transcript and will be valid for 1 month. After acquiring a Certification Package the certification will become valid for 5 years. Every 5 years, a recertification exam is required to maintain the certifications in good standing.
How much should I have to pay for a certificate? The prices for the certificate and the official transcript, as well as their mailing costs are included in the Certification Package fee. See certificate sampleand official ranscript sample.
How can I get an official transcript? Following the acquirement of a Certification Package a printed official transcript including all active certifications will be mailed.
When will I receive the certificate and official transcript? The certificate and the official transcript are sent via registered air mail and should be received in 6 to 7 weeks following the acquire of a Certification Package. See Delivery Calendar to estimate the delivery timeframe.
