Certification programs are designed to enhance professional standards and select individuals possessing the knowledge and skills essential to information security practice. Holding an INFINIDOX certification is an ongoing commitment to professional growth.
A Certification Committee has been established to ensure the certification process is technically rigorous. The Certification Committee includes three professionals serving in either administrative or academic capacities representative of the evolving field of information security.
The Committee is implementing and controlling the certification policies and procedures.
Specifically, the Committee performs the following functions:
- review and revise the policies and procedures of the certification programs
- supervise the development of the examination items
- develop the content of the common body of knowledge
- disseminate information about certification programs.
The Committee undertook a comprehensive study to classify the knowledge and skills essential for today's professionals to succeed in information security. The findings of this study were used to structure the INFINIDOX examinations. Also, a job analysis has been conducted to define the domains in which certified information security professionals must be knowledgeable to perform competently.
